We were able to take a moment as a family yesterday

afternoon to get out of the house, enjoy the sun,

explore a little bit of nature and to sit

and throw rocks into the water.

It was marvelous. I love our time together.

This "flower" is amazing to me.

It was on a tree that was just starting to bud.

As I looked at this flower I was amazed at the grace,

beauty and elegance I saw. But I also saw signs of

aging and some delicate edges have faltered.

But in my opinion all that just

adds to the beauty of the whole flower.

It reminded me that in life, all our

trials, if we pass through them

in a humble and meek way will only

add to the beauty of our whole being.

This child of mine is such a good little conscience for me.

She keeps me on the straight and narrow.

She helps fill our house with the spirit

by singing Primary songs all day long.

Her favorite song as of late has been,

"I Love To See The Temple."

It's such a great reminder to me to

take advantage of having the temple

close to me and to go more often.

We are blessed.

Our sick baby is healing.

were able to bring her home today.

We spent our day in the Emergency Room

at Primary Children's Hospital.

We will spend the next day in the hospital.

We have a very very sick little girl.

However.

I'm so grateful for the expertise and the kindness

that was shown to her while the staff did

what was necessary to help her get better.

They are truly a class act.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to have a holiday celebrating our Savior and His resurrection.

It is humbling to look at my children and realize their testimonies are being built by what I teach them. I'm honored at the responsibility and will try my best each day to make sure they know that they have a Savior and a Heavenly Father who love each of us perfectly.

We introduced our girls to dying Easter Eggs today.

Yes, we've never dyed eggs with our kids before.

It was a fun activity to do while listening to General Conference.

We had the opportunity to visit my parents today.

They gave Olivia her birthday present a couple days early.

My mom made her some amazing skirts and bought matching tops.

I'm so grateful for her talents.

As you can tell, Olivia LOVES them.

This little bird was singing his heart out while

sitting atop a tree covered in snow.

It made me smile. He wasn't letting a

little bit of snow get him 'down.'

It was just another reminder to me to keep

singing and smiling through the rough spots.
